Chapter 650: Tricks Of The Trade.

He thought that small worlds were only useful to divine beings as a source of life span, but after seeing how the Thorn House of Commerce had vacated the creatures on the small world, he remembered that divine beings use living beings to grow and multiply their spirit creatures. This taught him a lesson not to underestimate the Thorn House of Commerce.

After assimilating the two small worlds, he went on towards the location of the closest one. On his way there, he thought about how the entire small world was barren of living things, including trees.

The memory of that experience made him smile and say, "Either they have been using these small worlds for the living beings in them, or they just used up the living beings after I asked for the small worlds. Knowing them, I won’t be surprised if it is the latter."

"In fact, it should be that they used up most of the living beings in the one week I gave them to send me the coordinates of the small world because they are money cultivators and should know that they shouldn’t make a world barren when they can make it a long-term source of living things."

"They should know that the long-term benefit of using the world as a farm is better than the short-term benefits of killing every creature in the small world. So those two small worlds should be farms before they decide to take every living thing away in order to spite me."

At this point, he had reached the third small world. After seeing the two previous small worlds, he can now expect that if there are going to be any ambushes, they should occur on these remaining two small worlds.

With a 50% chance of an ambush, he was extra careful in his approach. Unfortunately, all his caution was for naught because there was no ambush waiting for him.

There also wasn’t any ambush waiting for him at the fourth small world. There was only a small barren world that had clearly been exploited waiting for him.

The only surprising thing he saw was on the fourth world, where a portion of the world was missing. He could tell that there was a missing portion because the world had a large hole in it. This hole was about a third of the size of the world.

He also could tell that some of the missing parts of the small world were outside of it. This was because there were fragments of a landmass floating in the void around the small world.

After seeing these two things, his voice was full of confusion as he said, "So let me get this, they broke away part of the small world and discarded it. Why would they do that?"

The answer came to him after he assimilated the small world and realized that it was a little over 10 million square kilometers. This meant that the small world should have been 15 million square kilometers in size before someone attacked it and took 5 million square kilometers from it.

So he became certain that whoever had done this had done it so that he wouldn’t get the full 15 million square kilometers. As for what they did with the part that they took, that was still unknown.

This made him shake his head and say, "I thought I had estimated them accurately, but it turned out that I had still underestimated their shamelessness and pettiness."

"At the end of the day, the joke’s on them, though. After all, I still got four Divine Metacs from this. I bet they didn’t see this coming."

None of the four small worlds had world kings, but there were world guardians who could become world kings in the small worlds. The presence of the world guardians was something he had asked for in the contract.

With world guardians available, he had spent some time using them to create world kings. As a reward for his effort, the four small worlds provided four Divine Metacs for him. He felt that this was more significant than the 44 million square kilometers that he gained from the four small worlds.

He had used one of the small worlds to elevate the Soul Hammer to a Divine Metac. The other three small worlds provided the Gorilla Strength Metac, the Eagle Eye Metac, and the Angry Bull Metac.

He had also gained three Divine Metacs from the three money cultivators that he killed earlier. So, in total, he now had 16 Divine Metacs.

As he said this, he returned to the second heaven. He went there to wait for the rank 6 swordsman that he had been fighting for many timelines now.

He has always been able to defeat the swordsman, but he hasn’t been able to successfully loot the swordsman. This time around, he has a plan that he believes might solve that problem for him.
