"That’s good," Lin Kuang said, breathing a sigh of relief.

Britney nodded, leaning quietly in his arms without another word.

"Why so quiet?" Lin Kuang couldn’t help but ask after a moment of silence.

"It’s nothing... I just don’t know how to tell you," Britney said.

"What is it? Just say it. There’s no need to be so formal with me," Lin Kuang said with a chuckle.

Looking at Lin Kuang, Britney blinked her big eyes. "Alright then, I’m going to say it."

"Yes, go on," Lin Kuang said with a smile.

"I have to leave. I must return to the Tuobingduo Clan," she said, her voice full of reluctance as she looked at him.

Although they hadn’t spent much time together, Britney had grown to rely on him. The warmth and affection she felt when she was with him were things she cherished.

"What? You’re leaving?" Lin Kuang asked, taken aback by the suddenness of it all.

"Yes, I have to go back. I’m worried the Fanzhuo Clan will move against our people," Britney explained with a concerned look.

Yisiduo had seen her fuse with Cain’s left hand, so she was naturally worried that the Fanzhuo Clan would attack her own Clan.

Hearing this, Lin Kuang nodded in understanding. "I see. You’re right, you should go back and check on them," he said, a hint of his own reluctance showing.

"Mhm, but before I go, I’ll give you a gift," Britney said with a sly smile, snuggling against him.

"Another gift? What is it?" Lin Kuang asked curiously.

"It’s a very important gift. Let’s go outside, and I’ll tell you there," she said cheerfully.

Lin Kuang nodded, and the two of them left the cave. The sky was pitch-black. It was already the night of the following day.

"I can’t believe a whole day has passed," Britney said, looking up at the dark sky.

"Yeah, time always flies," Lin Kuang said reflectively.

Just then, Britney took flight, her pair of pristine white wings beating gently. The next moment, countless emerald leaves rained down from the trees. Guided by her power, the leaves settled beneath their feet, forming a thick, green bed.

"What are you doing?" Lin Kuang asked, puzzled by her actions.

"Giving you your gift," Britney said with a grin.

"Ah? These leaves are your gift to me?" he asked in surprise.

"Of course not. I am your best gift," she said with a smile. The next moment, her clothes fell away, revealing her captivating figure to Lin Kuang.

Lin Kuang stared, stunned. He knew what she meant, but he could hardly believe it. But just yesterday, she said her Primordial Blood Power hadn’t fully formed yet. Why is she suddenly doing this today?

With this thought, Lin Kuang couldn’t help but ask, "Britney, didn’t you say your Primordial Blood Power hadn’t formed yet?"

"That was yesterday. After absorbing the power from Cain’s left hand, my Primordial Blood Power has now fully formed. This is my gift to you," Britney explained, her cheeks flushing slightly.

"I see," Lin Kuang said, finally understanding.

"Yes. So, get ready to receive my gift," Britney said with a faint smile. Lin Kuang’s clothes fell away on their own as she eagerly pulled him into an embrace and initiated a deep kiss.

Lin Kuang certainly didn’t refuse. The two embraced, lying together on the bed of green leaves. With the sky as their blanket and the leaves as their bed, everything felt intensely natural, as if it were their first time together.
